Fujitsu has acquired Poquct Computers, a pioneer in market for pocket-sized PCs. It already had more than 80 per cent of Poquet’s equity as a result of series investments. Poquct, now rechristened Fujitsu Personal Systems, is to be Fujitsu’s vehicle for entry into the European PC market. The company also claims to have created the world’s largest corporate telecommunication network. The firm has spent about S15 million on the network that interconnects its 45 offices across nine countries.
