LECTRA has created a new operating system which is called MILOS. MILOS (Micro Lectra Operating System) is a system which is allowing the management of the inputs/outputs to the computer and includes a command translator, as well as some basic functions (calculation conversion, task launching etc. A outline of MILOS commands are given below:






* Any command stored followed by it’s syntax must be validated by “RETURN”

* Character [   ] and <   > are not part of the syntax, they delimit the arguments.

1. @ : Used to execute the commands stored in COM.

Syntax          :   @


The commands stored in COM are

displayed, the commands are carried

out one by one.


Used to change the type of character (font) used on the graphic screen. SYNTAX : ALPHA [ OPTION ] Possible options are— KAT   (The selected font is KATAKANA) CYR  (The selected font is CYRILLIC) ROM (The selected font is ROMAN) KAN  (The selected font is KANJI) CHI   (The selected font is CHINA)

3. CNF Used to visualize the configuration of the system connection and peripherals.

4.  CNX To connect one station with network.

Syntax: CNX [XX] Here

XX— Name of 2 alphanumerical characters given to the station and it can be saved by SAVSYS command. * If xx is absent, the name of the connection will be”??” If it is already connected, we will re-connect it with the old name and we will not put any arguments.

5. COM to store one or several MILOS commands.

Syntax: COM [command of Milos/

Command of Milos........]

Explanation: It is possible to cumulate several commands at one time, if the number of characters contained on a line is not overstepped. We can store the required commands or the user programs in the buffer and separate them by”/”.

To see the contents of com file Write COM after the prompt and press ENTER. The contents are then displayed. To remove the contents of com file,’ Write COM and press space bar once or “/”

6.  CPB Used to do complete copy, block by block, from one support to another. ;


If the option is not specified by the operator, it will be requested.
