Khwaja Mozammel Hoque (R) Foundation, a Sufi-based Welfare Organization, is going to provide more than a hundred meritorious students with stipend as a part of their yearly program regularly taking place since 2001. This year 168 of class IX and X students studying at 31 different schools in Sirajganj are going to receive crest and cash at a stipend giving ceremony to be held in the premises of Jamtail Dhupakandi Bohumukhi (multiple) High School in Kamarkhanda Upazilla on tomorrow 25 January, Monday, 2010.
Khwaja Tipu Sultan, Chairman, Khwaja Mozammel Hoque (R) Foundation (KMRF) will grace the jovial ceremony as the chief guest to award the students with the crests and money. The ceremony, to start at 11:15 am will be presided over by Mr. Musharrof Hossain, District Police Super, Md. Ziaul Haq, Thana Executive Officer will attend the program as special guest. Mr. Dipak Chandra Chakraborti, Headmaster, Jamtail Dhupakandi Bohumukhi (multi) High School, is to deliver the welcome speech. Md. Ansar Ali Khan Joy, chief co-ordinator, grater north region will hold the position of president and with the direction of Engineer Khurshid Ahhmad, chief of Public Relations and Publication Cell the program will be held.
Headmasters of 31 schools along with those institutions’ managing committee chairmen, KMRF high officials and influential locals are to join the program. KMRF high officials to be present there include: Al Hajj Jobaier Hossein, Secretary; Al Hajj Faruk Hossein, Treasurer; Mr. Mahbub-e Elahi, chief co-ordinator, grater Dhaka region and Mr. Mohammad Ali, chief co-ordinator, grater Mymensingh region.
KMRF organizes the program every year to grant the stipend to those of class IX and X students who acquire top three positions in their schools’ respected merit list. Apart from this initiative, KMRF has been carrying out Self-Reliant Program in different districts of Bangladesh, where poor and destitute people are provided with micro capital as “Sadga-E-Zaria”, free Medical Support regularly by KMRF.
