With the theme ‘Light up the technological light’ a three-day Dhaka Laptop Fair 2010 is going to start from 7-9 July 2010 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center BICC, organized by Maker Communication. After the successful completion of previous six laptop fair, for the seventh time Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo and Samsung are the four sponsors and promotional Partner is HP.
A press conference was held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on 4th July 2010 for the laptop fair. Protap Saha, Channel Marketing Manager, HP Bangladesh, Md. Al Fuad, Sales and Marketing Manager – IT of Samsung, Mohammad Zahirul Islam, MD of Smart Technologies BD Limited and Palash Paul, Channel Product Manager of Executive Technologies Limited was presented at the press conference.
Brand new Laptops of world renowned brands- HP, Compaq, Samsung, Dell, Fujitsu, Gateway, Gigabyte, Asus, Lenovo, Toshiba, Acer, MSI, BenQ, Apple would be presented at very attractive prices on the occasion of the fair by the renowned companies of Bangladesh like Global Brand, Executive Technologies, Computer Source, Flora Limited, Smart Technologies, IOM, Tech View, Rishit Computers, Computer Village, Khan Jahan Ali Computers, Techno Edge, Startech Engineering, Advent Technologies. Samsung and HP will be also participating in that fair. Norton Antivirus will sponsor the Ticket booth. The Fair Gate will be open for visitors every day from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. There will be 14 pavilions and 11 stalls in the fair. The entry fee will be Tk. 20. Maker communication will spend half of the money from sale of ticket for the purpose of education to the deprived children.
Advocate Md. Kamrul Islam, Honorable Minister of State, Ministry of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs would inaugurate the Dhaka Laptop Fair 2010. Mustafa Jabbar, President, Bangladesh Computer Samiti and Musa Ibrahim, First Bangladeshi Everest Conqueror would be presented as Special Guest at the opening event.
