State Minister for Women and children Affairs, Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury is addressing
A two-day workshop on Digital Bangladesh for 64 Additional Deputy Commissioners (General) ended on Tuesday, May 18 with a view to extend government services at the citizen’s doorstep.
UNDP supported Access to Information (a2i) Program organized this workshop in continuation with the training of Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Upazila Nirbahi Officers.
Going back to their stations, they will act as the ‘Focal Point’ of district administration and will organize workshops and seminar for others officials to make clear the issues of digital Bangladesh.
Closing session of the event was held at city hotel where State Minister for Women and children Affairs, Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, attended as the Chief Guest. Khandakar Anwarul Islam, Additional Secretary of the Cabinet Division and Deputy Country Director of UNDP Bangladesh, Robert Juhkam were present as special guests. Nazrul Islam Khan, National Project Director of a2i, was in the chair.
Earlier, H T Imam, Adviser to the Prime Minister, inaugurated the workshop on May 17 at Prime Minister’s Office. State Minister for Science and ICT Architect Yeafesh Osman and UNDP’s Country Director Stefan Priesner attended the event as special guests.
